One True Pairing Ship: Oh god, I don't do these in FF7... uh, I guess the closest I get to that is Veld/motherly women or Veld/crazyfuck guys. Or um, Tifa/Anyone. And Jenova Project/Everybody.

Canon Ship: Cid/Shera. I just wish it were written better most of the time. It can be cute AND bitter and complex. I like that. Plus Cid's my hero.

"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship: I'm really all sorts of unfond of Cloud/Sephiroth. And Aeris/Sephiroth. I'll read it when it's written right, I just would rather avoid it. XD Oh and Veld/Tseng--in theory, it could be kind of neat, it practice? Kind of mindscarring.

"You are one sick bastard" Ship: Oh god, don't ask that. Really. That's like a DARE. ~~Hojo/Aeris or Veld/Aeris~~.

"I dabble a little" Ship: Tseng/womenfolk. Mainly because I haven't written much Tseng before. He's fun. I should dabble more.

"It's like a car crash" Ship: Veld/His Wife. I mean, come on. I guess Hojo/Lucrecia is this way too. Hell, Jenova Project/Anyone Related

"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: Reno/Tifa. Lots of my friends write it and I like it when they do, and they make it work, I just don't think I could.

"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship: Um, Veld/Ifalna? Sure, I invent reasons and opportunities, but that's because I'm a dork. I guess Ifalna/Lucrecia falls under this to. I just want the girls to have lives and stuff.

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: Zack/Aeris. It's either too sugary or too angsty. And Vincent/Yuffie. I just don't see her being interested, and I don't see him having the patience. Then again the whole deadish guy/spunky girl thing never did make much sense to me (Vincent/Shelke makes a bit more, but there's an ick factor for anything that's not like, platonic for me)

"When all is said and done" Ship: Veld/Vincent... I'm just very comfortable with it, I guess. XD When I have writer's block I usually write them being well, them, and it pulls me right out. You wouldn't believe all the half-finished stuff I have with them that I did just to break writer's block.

In one way I could imagine Vincent/Yuffie, then Vincent in my head is a touch bit more playful, it would be all sorts of creepy because I can’t imagine them doing anything more than running around on a more than PG-13 crime spree for fun. Then after watching season one of Heroes I’m half curious about Veld/Wife.

I understand you on Zack/Aeris even if it’s one of my favorites because I can so see them silly haunting everyone when their having angst over them with Iffy getting involved occasionally. Veld/Ifalna, Ifalna/Lucrecia doesn't go against canon. ;p

Wait, I’m confused, just because something doesn’t occur in canon doesn’t mean it’s going against canon does it. It’s not like Iffy said Gast was her first or the pair of them were destined forever. Besides Iffy was quite unattached for seven years post Gast and all the before time. Not to say it is at all plausible within the context of canon just that it doesn’t contradict canon what’s been established.

Besides in some ways it gives canon some sense. ;p

Canon Ship: ...I guess Leon-->Cloud is kind of canon in KH. I don't see Cloud much returning it (and I had a really dorky idea with Cloud dropping off Leon with Aeris and telling her to keep an eye on him because he freaks him out).

Kain's a sidekick who wears a baseball cap all the time, and Edgar's an engineering nerd that cosplays LOTR stuff and makes model ships. One of these days I'll write something about it and prove what a dork I am. Or just babble at you with what we've joked around with.)

Ahahahah. Yeah. Kind of the same feeling with Edgar, he's just... he's my favorite guy from VI. He was just too cool. I know everyone likes Locke, but Edgar was just 100x more cool to me.

...I am seriously half tempted to actually work on this crazy crossover thing, because it's fun. And basically is the result of every geeky thing I like ever (and let's me make people from different FFs be like, the kids and parents of some... for real).

Regarding Sephiroth/Celes - I can totally see it, and you should maybe write it. It's one of those things that, done well, would be utterly brilliant, and done poorly (which I have seen), makes you want to kill someone.

"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: Quistis/Irvine. It's a strong tickle. I'm basically sold.

"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship: Zell/Ellone. It'd be cuuuuute. And Fujin/Xu.

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: Irvine/Selphie. I like Irvine and Selphie, but they just feel so brother/sisterly to me. And I tend to dislike automatic B pairings.

Quistis/Irvine didn't fit in a category on my list, but it is also made of win.

Selphie/Irvine will always be my first FF8 official pairing (which means I have a soft spot for them), but I can definitely understand where you're coming from.

I know! It's so bizarre how relatively unknown BOF is; I've only ever been able to get hold of IV despite much trying and that was only by accident; I got it for £1.99 on a trip to York because I liked the box art and the sound of the game. Deis is uberly awesome, but I love pretty much all of the characters in it and I ADORED the fairy village thing. I picked up Dragon Quarter when it came out but couldn't get into it in the least, though I've half a mind to go back and try it again if I get time over the summer.

I don't mind Dragon Quater, but it's not my favorite. I'm like one of five people on the internet who I know of who actually writes breath of fire fanfic. 3 was wonderful too, and really, I like them all. Every one has such wonderful characters. :)
