May. 19th, 2008 02:55 pmSo the new minion got grabbed up by another project, and my boss says we don't need him yet anyway. He kind of looks like my One Decent Ex-Boyfriend, which is kind of hilarious. Current minions and I have been chillin' anyway. Days go by so fast now that I have people to work with. It's kind of nice.
Plans for Otakon are in full swing--yes, I am definitely going now, I've got no classes to get in the way and work will pretty much let me take any time off that I want. Will be talking with certain people about their travel plans and what they're bringing. For us dudes taking a plane (like me) I think it would be awesome if we can cut down on packing (and possibly forgo checking bags and possibly having them lost). I managed to do an 11-day conference in DC with only one bag and one carry-on, so. Then again, I don't usually wear any makeup, have a hairdryer, or any other bulky girly things. XD The biggest challenge will be transporting my costumes; Terra is a lightweight one that should be alright as long as I have the opportunity to iron it should it get packed too tightly. Edea is somewhat voluminous, though. Hrm. Well, I've got a couple months to think about that, besides, the Edea one isn't even finished.
